What is pyrography?
Pyrography literally means writing with fire. It is also known as woodburning. There is a pretty good article about the history of pyrography here if you are interested in learning more.
Where can I buy your work?
I sell on ArtFire.com, Etsy, DeviantArt, and Zazzle. I am expanding to selling at art and craft fairs. I also do commissions, please send me and email (fireoakstudio@gmail.com) if you are interested.
Do you turn your own bowls?
No, though I am working toward being able to start turning soon. My bowls are hand turned, just not by me. They are made in the USA and are turned while green, or wet, then dried using traditional old work methods.
